Online applications designed especially for credit unions

CLIC® Technology

CLIC is an acronym for CUIS Loan Insurance Components. Using CLIC technology, credit union lenders complete insurance enrollments electronically, eliminating the manual completion, filing and mailing of thousands of paper insurance enrollments. Member information is collected, stored and exchanged electronically between our systems via the Internet.

CLIC is offered in two versions, CLIC and Mini-CLIC.

CLIC

  • works with or without loan origination systems
  • uses in-branch or mobile lending sites
  • is Windows-based, easy to learn and use
  • utilizes drop-down menus and embossed buttons
  • helps lenders with insurance sales - calculates insurance costs per day
  • produces sales reports by branch and lender
  • automatically produces month-end premium reports
  • detects and corrects enrollment entry errors
  • has secure transmission through the Internet with 128-bit encryption, the same method used by major charted banks
  • a single mouse click will send an entire day's enrollments to the CUIS program insurance administration department

Mini-CLIC

Since loan origination systems handle quoting, printing and transaction storage, a trimmed down version of CLIC technology, known as Mini-CLIC, is available. Mini-CLIC allows for electronic transmission of insurance enrollments and rate files.

INSURELINK

Our corporate goal with technology is to allow business transactions and information exchanges on an "anytime, anywhere, any way" platform for your credit union and your members. Delivering on this objective has led to the development of InsureLink. InsureLink technology reduces paperwork and saves time with the insurance enrollment process. Delays from incomplete applications are avoided. As soon as an application is completed and submitted on-line, an underwriter or tele-service representative receives it in real time.

InsureLink enables credit union members, through credit union web sites, to get quotes and submit applications and enrollments for life, disability, home and auto insurance products.

InsureLink Direct

Piloted in 2001, InsureLink Direct makes insurance products directly available to credit union members through the Internet. InsureLink Direct can be branded by the credit union.

Asset Liability Management (ALM) Software

These software programs act as a virtual financial "watchdog" for your credit union. By keeping track regularly of the spread between assets and liabilities, ALM can alert management to situations where your credit union may enter  unfavourable financial positions. The software enables credit unions to perform forecasting, budgeting, long-range planning and "what-if" analyses. The programs can make key financial  data readily available so managers can make more informed decisions.

Easy to navigate, this software is a proven success. It is supported by the CUNA Mutual Group, a major stakeholder in the CUMIS Group. It is offered to more than 1,000 credit unions from across North America whose assets range from $10-million to $8.8-billion.

CUMIS Life Events Planner (LEP)

The CUMIS Life Events Planner  is a comprehensive, web-based set of financial planning tools. With interactive calculators and dynamic reports, credit union members and employees can use it to help them assess their current financial situations and plan for future goals/events. This can range from evaluating educations savings and retirements needs to calculating lease and mortgage payments. These calculators also incorporate colorful graphs to enhance the displayed results. In addition:

  • LEP generates referrals and sales leads from interested members directly to the credit union
